Air recievers are very important components for compressed air systems. They are mainly used for storage and buffering functions. Moreover, they supply air for peak consumptions and prevent the system pressure to fluctuate or reduce dramatically. Incorrect air receiver sizing may result in inefficiencies according to the applications especially for fixed speed compressors.
